Like our other Easyfix Secondary Glazing systems, FilmGlaze works by eliminating draughts and lowering noise penetration, reducing heat loss and therefore your fuel bills.

FilmGlaze comprises a sheet of special film that is attached and sealed to the window frame or surround using self adhesive tape.
The film is then gently heated with a hair dryer to remove wrinkling and give a taut finish that fully insulates the window.
Handles and other window fittings can be refixed after installing FilmGlaze, and because there is no solid glazing material involved, emergency access through the seasonal glazing is quick and easy.
The ideal insulating cavity will be around 20mm deep.
FilmGlaze packs include Surface Preparation Wipes, to clean and degrease the window area before sticking down the self adhesive tape.
Extra sachets of the wipes are also available.
