How awesome we get to see our products out and in use! Thank you so much Veterinary Specialists Aotearoa (VSA) for trusting us and letting us bring your product to life.

Here is what was said on how they use the product:
"VSA has a CT scanner in all three of our hospitals. All animals scanned would usually be sedated or anaesthetised by our anaesthesia team in order to be kept still for their scan. Occasionally, the risk is too great to sedate or anaesthetise a very unstable patient. We can use the mouse trap to safely contain a cat or small dog in order to get information from the CT scan without further risking their lives with sedatives. We can attach an oxygen line to the front of the mouse trap and there is an aperture to feed a fluid line through for intravenous access".

And why Cambrian Plastics?
"Local business, reasonable price, and our prototype has been so successful we knew you could do it again!"

We are thrilled to announce that Cambrian Plastics is embracing a new approach to enhance productivity and streamline operations: the implementation of the 5S methodology!

What is 5S, you ask? It's a systematic methodology for organizing the workplace coined from five Japanese words: Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain). By incorporating these principles into our daily routines, we aim to create a more efficient, safer, and cleaner workspace for everyone.

Here's a brief overview of what each "S" entails:

1. Sort (Seiri): We will declutter and remove unnecessary items from our workspace, keeping only the essentials. This will not only free up space but also make it easier to find what we need when we need it.

2. Set in Order (Seiton): Everything will have a designated place, making it effortless to locate tools, equipment, and materials. This organization will reduce wasted time searching for items and improve workflow.

3. Shine (Seiso): Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure that our workspace remains clean and orderly. A clean environment fosters productivity and promotes a sense of pride in our workplace.

4. Standardise (seiketsu): We will establish standardized procedures and practices to maintain the gains achieved through sorting, setting in order, and shining. Consistency is key to sustaining improvements over the long term.

5. Sustain (Shitsuke): Continuous improvement is embedded in our culture. We will encourage everyone to take ownership of the 5S principles and actively seek ways to refine our processes and maintain a high standard of organization.

By embracing the 5S methodology, we are not only optimizing our workspace but also fostering a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and excellence.

Here is a link to our YouTube channel where we post weekly updates on our 5 S journey where each week we just get better and better!
