ACETAL or Polyoxymethylene (POM)
Acetal is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is characterised by its resistance to organic solvents and outstanding machinability. Acetal has good sliding and abrasion behaviour, and low water absorption properties. The material is widely used in the automotive and consumer electronics industry.

Acetal Rod is available in a wide range of thicknesses and lengths. Maximum length in one run is two metres with the minimum length being 250mm long. More sizes may be available on request.
Acetal Rod is also available cut to size. Lead time for cutting is 24-72 hours (dependant on current workload and quantity required)
