We recommend using 3mm Acrylic sheet with SuperGlaze or 4.5mm can be used for larger windows if extra rigidity is required.

For Double Glazing we only use Plexiglas branded acrylic, a high quality sheet with a 30 year guarantee.
SuperGlaze is designed for use with 3mm and 4.5mm plastic panels. It comes in lengths of 2440mm and in either white or brown.
The system comprises lengths of extrusion that grip the edge of the glazing panel before being screwed to the window frame or surround.
A separate matching cover strip then clips into place to hide the screws and give a neat, professional appearance.
We recommend 2.9mm x 13mm long self-tapping screws.
The whole seasonal glazing system is easily detachable in warmer weather, and can be re-used time after time.
